Its a honda thing. At least that s the way it works on my teg. The door is closed so i cannot take off the door panel i can get in the car by opening the passenger door and climbing into the drivers seat. 2nd generation acura integra 1990 1993 door wont unlock.

Okay i have 96 integra gs r hatch and the power door lock on the drivers side only works when the door is closed. It s a manual lock in the handle. Driver door will not open. I m guess it s not a 2008 2009 acura because that feature has been taken away recently.

To lock the doors insert the key into the lock on the driver s door and rotate the key counterclockwise until you hear the doors lock.
